Based on the brief, we developed a detailed concept that revolved around natural integration, and sustainable luxury. We presented mood boards, sketches, and 3D renderings to visualize the proposed design.
Upon entering this villa which we have dubbed ‘The Grey Oasis’, you are greeted by an expansive open concept living space. The interior is adorned with a grey colour scheme, with shades ranging from soft dove grey to deep charcoal.
Large windows flood the interior with natural light, creating a sense of spaciousness and warmth. Automated blinds and curtains can be adjusted to control the amount of light entering the villa. The villa’s interior is sparsely furnished with sleek, pieces made from high-quality materials such as polished concrete, steel, and glass. Comfortable grey sofas and chairs provide seating in the living areas, while a dining area features a minimalist table and chairs
The kitchen is a masterpiece of modern design, featuring grey-toned cabinetry, and stainless-steel appliances. It is a beautifully designed space that combines minimalist aesthetics with functionality, even in the absence of a traditional central island. Instead of an island, the central area of the kitchen has been left open, creating a sense of spaciousness and versatility. The countertops are made of polished grey marble or quartz. High-end, built-in appliances, including a stainless-steel oven, microwave, and refrigerator, seamlessly blend into the cabinetry, maintaining the clean and streamlined appearance of the kitchen.
The gaming room is a dedicated space designed to offer the ultimate gaming experience while maintaining the villa’s overall minimalist and luxurious aesthetic. It features clean lines, and a predominance of grey shades. The walls are adorned with textured grey wallpaper, adding depth and sophistication to the space, and the grey plush carpeting ensures comfort underfoot and helps to reduce noise. IT is a perfect blend of minimalist design, cutting-edge technology, and gaming comfort – a stylish space where guests can immerse themselves in their favourite games.
The office is a sleek and functional space designed to provide a productive and comfortable work environment while seamlessly integrating with the villa’s overall minimalist and luxurious design. It features clean lines, uncluttered surfaces, and a predominantly grey colour palette that exudes a sense of sophistication and serenity. Wall-mounted shelves display books, decorative items, and professional achievements while maintaining a minimalist and organized appearance. Decorative elements are kept to a minimum, with a focus on tasteful artwork, potted plants, or carefully chosen decorative items that complement the overall design.
The Majles in this Grey Oasis is a luxurious and inviting space, designed to be a focal point for social gatherings, relaxation, and traditional hospitality. This Majles, often found in Middle Eastern homes, embodies the villa’s minimalist aesthetic while incorporating elements of comfort and elegance. Traditional low-slung seating is arranged in a U-shape or around a central coffee table, creating an intimate and sociable seating arrangement. Plush cushions and upholstery in soft, neutral tones provide comfort. A central marble coffee table serves as a practical and elegant centrepiece. Smaller side tables are strategically placed for convenience. Elegant pendant lights with a modern design hang from the ceiling, casting a warm and inviting glow over the Majles. The walls feature tasteful artwork, adding a cultural touch to the space. And potted plants provide a refreshing and natural element, bringing life and vibrancy to the room.
bedrooms are tranquil retreats, each designed with different shades of grey. The master bedroom embodies the villa’s minimalist design principles with a soothing colour palette, ample space allowing for a king-sized bed, a sitting area with comfortable armchairs, and a desk or vanity for added functionality. It also contains a lavish en-suite bathroom featuring sleek fixtures and luxurious grey marble finishes, and a spacious walk-in closet which is equipped with custom storage solutions, including shelving, drawers, and ample hanging space.
The other bedrooms maintain the villa’s minimalist aesthetic with varying shades of grey and neutral tones, ensuring a cohesive design throughout the villa. Comfortable queen or king-sized beds with high-quality linens and plush pillows. En-suite bathrooms continue the theme of luxury with modern fixtures, walk-in showers, and ample storage. All bedrooms are equipped with smart lighting systems, large, wall-mounted flat-screen TVs and sound systems, and offer a comfortable and serene escape, balancing classic design with luxurious comfort.
